Hawaii Stream Consulting is an advisory practice of Hawaii Stream LLC. Unless a signed agreement states otherwise, Hawaii Stream LLC is the legal contracting and payment entity for consulting engagements offered under the Hawaii Stream name.
Site information and inquiries
This site provides general information about Hawaii Stream Consulting. Emailing an inquiry, calling, or receiving an initial response does not create a consultant-client relationship, obligation, confidentiality agreement, or duty to act.
Paid engagements and payment
Substantive evaluations, property or project review, introductions, coordination, and deliverables begin only after the parties agree in writing to a project-specific scope, fees or upfront deposit, timing, confidentiality terms, and deliverables. Future or ongoing support is separately scoped and paid.
Referral and coordination compensation
Depending on the assignment and only where permitted by applicable law and professional rules, Hawaii Stream may charge the client a direct consulting or coordination fee and may receive disclosed referral, introduction, or coordination compensation from a participating provider. Any applicable compensation structure, material relationship, or potential conflict must be disclosed in writing before the client commits to that provider or scope. Hawaii Stream does not accept compensation for licensed acts that Hawaii Stream is not authorized to perform.
Client choice and independent specialists
Clients remain free to accept or decline an introduction and to select their own contractor, architect, engineer, surveyor, attorney, appraiser, supplier, or other specialist. Unless a signed agreement expressly states otherwise, the client contracts directly with each selected provider. Clients should independently review licensing, insurance, references, proposals, and contract terms before proceeding.
Each third-party provider controls and remains responsible for its own services, statements, methods, personnel, errors, omissions, insurance, licensing, compliance, pricing, schedule, and work product. Hawaii Stream’s introduction, research, reporting, observation, or coordination does not make Hawaii Stream the provider’s employer, partner, insurer, guarantor, or license holder and does not create a warranty of the provider’s performance. Nothing in these terms excludes Hawaii Stream’s own responsibilities or liabilities that applicable law does not permit to be excluded.
Deposits, cancellation, and refunds
Deposits may reserve capacity, authorize commencement, or fund an initial work phase as described in the applicable proposal, engagement agreement, invoice, or checkout description. Cancellation, rescheduling, credit, and refund eligibility are governed first by those project-specific terms and then by our Deposit, Cancellation & Refund Policy. Amounts already earned for completed work or committed third-party costs may be non-refundable to the extent stated in the agreement and permitted by law.
Professional boundaries
Hawaii Stream provides independent consulting, strategy, research, documentation, introductions, and coordination. It does not provide legal, engineering, surveying, appraisal, brokerage, financial, construction, or other licensed professional advice or services unless an applicable written agreement identifies the properly licensed provider responsible for that work. Qualified licensed professionals remain responsible for work requiring their credentials.
No guarantees
Information and recommendations depend on available records, stated assumptions, observed conditions, and third-party input. We do not guarantee approvals, feasibility, budgets, schedules, funding, specialist availability, project performance, or outcomes.
Documents, confidentiality, and concept images
Do not send confidential documents by ordinary email or upload them directly to this site. A secure third-party handoff may be offered after qualification. Confidentiality and any non-disclosure obligations must be stated in an applicable written agreement. Images labeled as AI-generated concepts are fictional illustrations, not client properties, actual projects, professional designs, or representations of achieved results.
Third-party platforms and providers
Payment processors, secure-file providers, hosting providers, and referred specialists operate under their own terms. An introduction is not an endorsement, promise, or guarantee.
Acceptable use
Do not misuse the site, probe its security, submit unlawful or deceptive material, interfere with service, or copy site content beyond ordinary personal reference.
Governing law
As a draft placeholder pending professional legal review, these site terms are intended to be governed by the laws of the State of Hawaiʻi, without regard to conflict-of-law principles. Project-specific agreements may state different or more detailed terms.
